“I've been lucky enough to know Claire since 2009 when we teamed up to win gold while representing USA at NORCECA Jamaica. Her knowledge as an experienced professional beach volleyball player has lead her to be an amazing coach and owner of Desert Sand Volleyball Club. Her passion for beach volleyball is evident in the way she gets excited to introduce a young boy or girl to the sport to helping a high schooler achieve their dream of playing in college. I've been able to work closely with Claire and DSV athletes because she brings me out every year to host the Emily Day Clinic. It is amazing to see the skill level rising every year and the increasing number of people playing. Claire, along with her experienced DSV coaches, do a great job of teaching the skills of beach volleyball along with making sure everyone is having fun!”

I met Claire on day 1 of my beach volleyball career and at the time, didn’t fully understand how valuable her skillset was and how much she would come to mean to me as a person. She teaches with so much passion and is extremely knowledgeable about the game and sport as a whole from her own first hand experiences.
